It has been a couple of weeks since I was able to go to my favorite lake and get some photos. The deer were hiding this time so I mostly got photos of ducks and geese. Below are a few of my favorites.

Seems that most times when I go out and just have fun taking photos I usually end up with a surprise in a few of the photos. The following are not good photos, as you can tell, but I was really excited about the surprise any way. Now I know where to go to get better photos! 🙂
In this photo I was trying to capture the geese in a line flying away. Off to the left of this image is a larger bird. I didn’t notice it at all when I was taking the photo.

At first glance back at home, I thought it was a hawk and that the angle of the photo made it appear bigger than it was. Well when I cropped the photo and made a few adjustments (still not an excellent picture), I could tell what it was.

A bald eagle!! It was actually a goal this year to capture a photo of a bald eagle in the wild. I think this counts as achieving my goal. After all the goal didn’t indicate the quality of the photo! 🙂 Hopefully the next one will be better!
Thank you for stopping by and checking out my blog!!
